ICY BLAST CLEANSE

So, as the product ingredients suggest and description CLEARLY indicate s- it definitely packs a punch 👊🏻. After shampooing I part my hair into section and apply small amounts of the product in before I massage the roots. You feel the sharp tingling icy sensation instantly. This is an excellent product for a morning shower, when you REALLY want to wake up and feel invigorated. But if you are someone who washes their hair before bed time, the combination of menthol and caffeine is probably not going to fit well into your night time routine.

I have used similar products before - like the 'Roots' scalp mask from lush, as I am someone with an oily scalp, dry ends and thick wavy hair. I really need a weekly ritual to get rid of the gunk and product build up out of my hair and I'm not someone who washes their hair often. I prefer this however, because it does it's job quickly without having to leave it in like a mask and the grains in it are so fine that they dissolve quickly and wash out easily leaving no residue. So this product is definitely a perfect fit for my hair needs.
I am low key obsessed and will definitely be buying again.

Was not prepared

After smeling the product after opening I was not prepared for the kick of menthol to follow when I lathered up. It felt like menthol vapor was everywhere and I was under attack. After composing myself and washing it out, the cooling sensation remained for quite a while and my scalp feels clean. Probably not something I would subject myself to again.

Can't get past the smell

The smell is so medicinal. So strong. I don't want this in my hair.

Invigorating

Very invigorating & enjoyable but I struggled to wash particles out if my hair afterwards.
